West Delray Veterinary is a Delray Beach, Florida based general small animal, integrative veterinary practice founded in 2019 by Dr. Jonathan S. Block, DVM CVA CCRT. In addition to offering advanced, comprehensive medicine and surgery, we implement an integrative approach to veterinary medicine, including wellness care, acupuncture, nutritional supplements, hydrotherapy, and comprehensive rehabilitation and pain management.

OUR APPROACH

Under the direction of Dr. Jonathan S. Block, DVM CVA CCRT, West Delray Veterinary develops custom wellness and treatment plans specifically tailored for animals at every life stage. We are deeply committed to taking the time to build lasting relationships with our patients and clients in an effort to deliver the highest quality medicine and customer care. The practice emphasizes the importance of a compassionate understanding of the unique role of pets in family life and focuses on meeting the individual needs of every individual patient and every individual client, creating a truly unique veterinary experience.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We strongly feel that maintaining a fear free, low-stress, wholesome, and healing environment for clients and patients will allow us to deliver the highest quality patient and client care. With this in mind, in an effort to hold ourselves to the highest standards of patient and client care and social accountability, West Delray Veterinary will be fear-free/low stress certified, workplace wellness certified, AAHA accredited, and B Corporation certified by the end of our first year.

Our philosophy is to identify each patient’s individual needs and then to develop tailored wellness and treatment plans utilizing advanced medicine, surgery, and integrative therapies. The Highest Standard of Medical Care: AAHA Accredited

West Delray Veterinary has become an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) within its first year. AAHA is the only organization to accredit companion animal veterinary hospitals. To become and maintain accreditation, our hospital will undergo regular, comprehensive onsite evaluations and be measured on more than 900 standards of veterinary care.

Fostering a Positive Veterinary Experience: Low Stress

West Delray Veterinary will become a Low Stress Certified practice. This is a set of training initiatives that will help us provide a low stress, positive experience for our patients and clients. We understand that visiting the vet is not always the most enjoyable experience. We are committed to doing whatever it takes to minimize the stress associated with going to the vet.
